The Eagles were absolute trash for most of that game. After JJAW left it late, they were down to just one WR. The fact they still won in OT as they did says as much about the Giants as the Eagles.

What would give anyone any reason to think they will beat the Redskins next week?

Since this post was written, the Eagles are 3-0 and clinched a spot in the playoffs, as winners of the NFC East (an admittedly trashy division).  Not bad for a team that is missing its top three receivers, an all pro tight end, their right tackle, and who lost their starting running back and right guard to injury today.
