Let’s see if he can take the next step.Would have to disagree that, with wins over Stanford, UCLA, Washington and an SEC team on the road, 8-5 is mediocrity. Imagine if Garbers hadn't been hurt. Amazing after Garbers 3 interception performance in the Cheez-it Bowl he became such a good QB. Coaching?
As for Shaw, let’s see what 2020 brings. ‘19 was his first bad season. If 2020 is another bad year, there will be changes.
And as for 2020, if it is another bad year, I really doubt there will be changes.
QBs mature. Costello made a big jump. Had a terrific year in ‘19. Got hurt. But we all know Shaw is the worst coach in America. So certainly any improvement of any player is happenstance.
Garbers developed all by his lonesome, simply by maturing. Riiight.
As for Shaw, I only commented on his perceived reluctance for change, nothing more.
Free Phogge!!!! And no, crimson doesn't refer to the Tide.
