Exchanged emails with my doctor at Kaiser, he hadn't heard of an issue with ACE inhibitors and Covid-19. Suggested maybe the pharmacist might know more. . . . 

Here's a Lancet article from yesterday. Seems to recommend getting off ACE and onto different meds. Thoughts from the experts?

If I were on an ACE inhibitor, I would switch to a different BP med for now. -MD

(I'm not sure if "MD" is meant to indicate you are a physician, or are quoting someone/something whose initials are MD)

I would expect that if using ACEI or ARB was a factor, then it should be readily apparent in Chinese COVID-19 records, but I haven't seen that data published.  Elsewhere, reports indicate (IIRC) 21.5% of hypertension prescriptions in China are for ACEI or ARB.   There should be good quantities of patients using & not using those drugs.   I would hope that this is looked at ASAP and reported publicly immediately.
