Probably a wise choice given the uncertainty of next season but he’s not ready. A 15 man roster guy who should play in the D League for awhile.

Given he is unlikely to be a first round pick, I hope the Warriors use one of their second round picks on him and stash him in the G league for a year.  

I wonder how much of his decision was based around uncertainty of college.  About a month ago, I met with someone senior in the athletic department who assured me he wasn't going pro. Either they were out of the loop or Terry changed his mind.

I'm not sure how having to play for years in the D league is, under any circumstances, a good decision. A truly good decision would be to return to Stanford, add about 15 pounds of muscle, continue to fine tune his game, and then see where he stands with NBA GMs. Even if there is no college season next year, who cares? He's like, what, 18 years old?
