I'm very hopeful that if he's getting top quality care that he will eventually make a full recovery. That said, this video, from March 3, suggests the possibility that he came may have come into contact with a large viral load, since he claimed to have shaken hands with every single patient in a coronavirus ward he visited...:

That was on March 3rd... + 2 weeks, would be March 17th.  He was diagnosed about 10 days ago?  So likely not related (unless he had some early invisible immune response and he later had a second exposure and Covid is acting like dengue.  Yeah, probably/hopefully not).
