Fair point about MTA, but at least no one was dying. A political pissing match is annoying and costly, but it wasn’t costing lives.  This one is, and so one would like to think that the two would set their differences aside.

Laughable that Diblasio ran for the democratic presidential nomination.

Yeah, New Yorkers were polled back in 2019 about which of their state's own they most supported for President, and de Blasio came dead last, behind someone who wasn't even eligible to run for President:
