Stanford has a Shipley type coming in this year. Casey Filkins. Love the one you’re with guys.

I am very sanguine on Filkins. EJ Smith too. Both RBs coming in this year look like all-around weapons. Austin Jones, Nathaniel Peat, and these two will make a pretty insane RB corps in a year or two. Massive shift in philosophy to recruiting these all-purpose types of RB - all four of the youngsters can catch it out of the backfield. Of course in this coming class Shipley is one, but more recent offer/realistic target 4* Prophet Brown from Sacramento is one too. And a burner to boot. 10.9 100m speed.

By the way, yes, Shipley to Clemson. He'll be great and I'm glad the Domers didn't get him.

A) great news that Shipley is not going to the Domers
B) the shift in philosophy occurred about 5 years ago, when some guy named McCaffrey was a pretty good weapon out of the backfield.  In fact, I believe he was our leading receiver back then.
