A) great news that Shipley is not going to the Domers
B) the shift in philosophy occurred about 5 years ago, when some guy named McCaffrey was a pretty good weapon out of the backfield. In fact, I believe he was our leading receiver back then.

No on B)...Trevor Speights, Sione Lund (who is now a LB at Utah), and Justus Woods were all power backs. The pure "all-around back" recruiting trend started when Pritchard became OC.
