No, you're not. Hundreds of millions are losing their faith in our government. Although I question whether conceding defeat is the best way to describe it. Our leadership is the real-life version of the public sector idiots in the disaster movies, the mayors who order the scientists to ignore the shark, piranhas, etc. It's more blindness, plus corruption and incompetence, than conceding defeat. IMO.
