Excluding the bad apples, just like what we are seeing in america with a range of beliefs, doctors have a range of beliefs too. Some are as cautious as many on this board are, but some also don't really think too much of the virus.
There are probably more and more people (businesses and doctors included) that are getting desensitized to all the horrors of this virus and are just starting to accept the "inevitable".
