Again, these will be interesting to watch; if lots of people become infected, it will be a strong rationale for limiting hairstyling.  On the other hand, if nobody gets infected, it would be a strong rationale to reopen barbers and hairstylists (with appropriate precuations).

Another noteworthy detail: both cases were at a Great Clips. So even if all the clients test negative, haircuts aren’t in the clear yet — cuts at Great Clips are like 10 minute cuts. Also noteworthy was the fact that both employees were “mildly symptomatic” while working for days. That would piss me off if I were a customer. People who are sick need to stay at home, especially if they have close contact with dozens of customers. As intrusive as it sounds, we need to screen employees and, to a lesser degree, shoppers.
