 Maybe it's time to move down to Sacramento County.  It's a little (okay, a lot) flatter, but at least the leadership is sane :)

sane????  The Sacramento Sheriff publicly said that the county will not enforce the state's face mask order "due to the minor nature of the offense".

flatter???? Sacramento County is now on the state's monitor list for too many new cases too fast, AND for being down to 16% of their ICU beds available.
Placer County is on it for a surge in hospitalizations and low (18%) ICU beds available, but at least their new cases aren't happening as fast as Sacramento County.

There will be 79(and climbing...up 12 this week) fewer votes against that sheriff next time he's up for election.  (For comparison, Sac. Co. had 134 traffic-related deaths in 2018.  No doubt the minor nature of COVID-19 will outstrip drunk driving and speeding for 2020.)
