It is possible that a vaccine will be available by early next year and that it can be made available to athletes pretty early (hundreds of millions of doses are being prepared "at risk" before the vaccine is proven effective so that they can be ready pretty soon after approval.  The issue is more one of distribution, but coordinating administration to a football team shouldn't be too challenging.

My guess is POTUS46 would prioritize people a bit more important to national security, economic growth and public health.

and much, much, much later....college students including college student-athletes.

It will be amazing if college athletes are getting a vaccine in February, but I tend to doubt all D1 NCAA athletes would get the vaccine that early.  No way only FBS football players get the vaccine early since that would not align with the spirit of Title IX.

Good to hope for that vaccine scenario, but I fear the USA government's only plan for early 2021 is that same rosy vaccine scenario.
