Getting this back on topic...
This thread's subject might more accurately be changed to "College football should not be played this year" or "Should college football be played this year." Because as much as everyone on the outside isn't believing the games will actually be played, and well over half of people polled don't think it should be, it sure doesn't look like anything is stopping P5 conferences from playing games if they get the safety concerns ironed out with the athletes.
Of course, ESPN has yet to run a single promo for a 2020 college football season game that I have seen, which might be the biggest leading indicator we have. This could be out of an abundance of caution, but the fact is we are less than a month from the first scheduled game, and the conferences appear to be full speed ahead.
