Anyone have any insight on Azzi Fudd? Should I have my hopes up, or just be happy with 2 top 10 recruits?  

You should be happy with 2 top 10 recruits.  Nothing is over until they sign on the line which is dotted, but mentally prepare yourself for Fudd to go to the evil empire.

We have never had 2 top 10 recruits in the same year (this is going back to 2007 when HoopGurlz started publishing its list).  And I think Iriafen may be under-ranked at #9.  She is super athletic and has such soft hands finishing around the rim.

though we did have jayne, kayla, and nneka in successive years.

We've also had #1 Haley Jones, #3 Cameron Brink, #4 Brooke Demetre and #9 Kiki Iriafen over three years.

That's fair, but doesn't 3 sound amazing? Also I'm getting comfortable with the hope that UConn is losing their empire status, but maybe that's a bad idea.

One can dream, and I certainly hope I'm surprised.  By the way, if they get Fudd this year, with Buekers last year, UConn will have had back-to-back top recruits.  Plus DeBerry is ranked #5 this year, and they already have #2 Isuneh Brady next year.  It's a bit early to declare the end of the empire.

Really hoping we sign Betts and Rice next year.

I'm going one step further and hoping for Betts, Gardiner, Rice and Jones.  VanSlooten and Bollin have offers and are interesting because they are bigs who can shoot.  But they are from OH and MA.  Betts, Gardiner and Jones are all from Pac-12 land and Rice has family connections to Stanford so hopefully those are our four next year.  With that foursome (plus Brink, Demetre and Iriafen) we could compete with anyone.
