If not for this pandemic then for the next one.If not for this pandemic then for the next one.
Tragic. But no reason to think it’s related.
Actually I blame the world pandemic on its source. Particularly given that there were warnings years ago that these open air markets with their bat meat were a “ticking time bomb”. No question what started this pandemic.NONE. So the “ Wuhan Virus” sounds right to me. Just like MERS, Hong Kong Flu, Spanish Flu, Ebola. Naming pandemics for the region in which they emanate has always need the case. Maher NAILED that one.
There should be enormous world pressure put on China to end these markets. Right? Seems pretty obvious to me. And China should be hit with massive economic sanctions. But by all means, let’s not go there. Instead, lets look at all the f—k ups that have occurred trying to stop or slow this pandemic. It’s kind of like a guy gets shot. And dies from sepsis in the hospital a week later. The suit names the Dr and hospital for negligence. Because you sure as heck aren’t going to get any monetary relief from the guy that is truly to blame.
Can’t say anything negative about China. Just ask Adam Silver.
Is it possible to play a College Football season in the Spring? I’m talking logistically more than anything else. I don’t know if it would be the right thing to do. But hopefully by the spring this things under control. If not- Heck I don’t even want to think about if not.

I'm not convinced that heart concerns specifically should be driving the decisions about covid-19 and athletics, but this story definitely is concerning:

Woo Hoo!! Another thing to blame on Trump, right guys? [It's hard not to read some posts through that filter . . .].
No need to blame Trump. Everyone who isn't a Trump supporter recognizes how harmful he's been. Everyone who is a Trump supporter always has someone else to point the finger at. Of course Trump is not SOLELY to blame, and I guess that will be part of his legacy.
