Hoo boy. We literally have the potential for the SEC, ACC, and Big-12 being the only conferences in the entire NCAA playing Fall sports.

I get the idea that nobody has the perfect answer for how to manage the situation. But I would use Sweden as a cautionary tale. They thought "let's be different and not lockdown" and we all know what happened to them. They ended up saying "we made a mistake." To me, if I were in charge of college sports conferences and their schools, I would want to do everything possible to take this potential off the table.

The Big Ten and the Pac-12, are giving them cover to take this opportunity for a mistake off the table, and they appear willing to not take them up on the opportunity.

And this is bonkers: Nebraska put out a statement saying they don't agree with the Big Ten and haven't given up playing in the Fall.
