I imagine the testing would be as extensive as for a vaccine.   Maybe even more so because this is a very different therapy (than any I'm aware of).

It isn't quite clear to me how this would work.   Would you spray this like DDT over the Mardi Gras crowds to kill off virus in the air?  Have an air "freshener" in a bar's bathroom puff out nanobodies by the quadrillions every minute?   Use it like an inhaler while in a risky situation?   Use it the morning after potential exposure, hoping that it can somehow get to the bazillion copies of virons being churned out by already-infected cells.  Treat known cases with it (perhaps on their masks) so that it is also released with the virus-laden particles, so anyone nearby enough to get the virus also gets the nanobodies?  Is it expected to be applied only via air, or will it be added to the blood or other tissues to try to block wider infection in each person already infected.

There will be concerns that this may have the same allure of a morning-after pill.  You can willfully engage in what you know as risky behavior because no one will deny you access to this treatment.
