I love Mexico and Brazil, but .....

If in March I was given a choice between  
Group 1 - South Korea, Japan, New Zealand, Australia, Germany and Norway  
Group 2 - Brazil, Mexico and Russia

I would have picked Group 1 for sure, and would have never imagined we would actually be less successful than the countries in that Group 2 list.

In both football (soccer) and COVID-19, Group 2 would be considered the "group of death".  I mean, Germany is tough in Group A, but the rest of the teams are pushovers.  Brazil is brutal, but to also have to face Mexico and Russia, not to mention a resurgent US... that group is brutal!
