I'm very curious how they're going to test before the next debate, if Trump is healthy enough to debate. A properly administered PCR test 13 days from diagnosis will often be positive in covid patients. We don't know what this means in terms of infectivity. In terms of CDC guidance, they state you can be around others after 10 days from start of symptoms, as long as without fever and other symptoms improving. So Trump may request not to be tested at all. These guidelines don't apply to someone with severe covid, which it doesn't seem Trump has, though we do not have full information.
