This is really good news, right? Especially in light of how 2021 recruiting is likely to end? My sense is that 2022 needs to be a top-20 recruiting class--with the requisite big bodies--if Stanford has any dreams of keeping up with Oregon and maybe others in the Pac-12 North.
If there's one thing people have learned in Berkeley, it's that you can't put "Cal football" and "Rose Bowl" in the same sentence. The words just don't fit. You'd be better off linking "covered wagons" with "Mars travel." (Bruce Jenkins, Cal '70, SF Chronicle, Nov. 11, 2017)
