Even as the health-care situation worsened in northern Idaho, a regional health board voted to repeal a local mask mandate. It acted moments after hearing how the Kootenai Health hospital in Coeur d’Alene had reached 99% capacity.

What can one say? If I were on the regional health board, the local mask mandate wouldn't matter much as a full 14 day (minimum) mandatory lockdown looks necessary to me. It is beyond masks (although naturally the local mandate should remain). If the hospital is 99% full, what else can you do?
