As an unabashed and lifelong Dodger hater, the silver lining to the dark cloud of them winning their first World Series in 32 years is the scandal of Turner's Covid test results tainting their celebration. 

I listened to Greg Papa on the radio this morning and heard him really tearing into MLB for what happened.

As a Giants fan and Dodger detractor (certainly during the Lasorda Years), I think this is a minor blip story.  
Baseball managed to get through a season and a World Series (and a pretty darn good one, to boot), and The Sanctimonious - you know, those who objected to baseball even trying to have a season - need to rail on about something.  On cue, enter Turner.

With the testing on-site, I actually think the ability to track/trace, if necessary, is there.  

(Somehow I doubt that Turner gave the Rays' family member the virus . . . but hey!  Maybe that itself is another scandal!).

I'm with Teejers on this -- the Turner story is closer to a minor blip than a scandal. Turner was irresponsible, but he already had been exposed that same evening to the teammates with whom he was celebrating. Turner will probably get suspended for a few games and this will be viewed as a minor transgression by most people, aside from those who hate the Dodgers and are looking for something to gripe about (and I realize there are a lot of Dodger-haters on this board!)

Turner.  Steroids. Now this.....

Not a Giants fan or a Dodger hater, but I think Turner should get a suspension of some duration.

Teammates 
The problem for Turner was not really his teammates.   I would agree it is logical to conclude they were already negatively impacted with little harm for additional exposure.   HOWEVER, even for the players it is likely many were not close to 15 minutes with Turner prior to the post-game.  If exposure is cumulative spending a few more minutes could make the difference.

The problem for MLB and Turner was there were the others at the post-game stuff.   

Media
The media was down on the field too.   A lot of those folks now can't work for ~7-14 days because of their exposure to Turner.   That's a problem for those people and their employers.

Family
Wives, significant others and kids were all down there with the players too.   In theory many of them should now be in quarantine, especially Turner's wife who got a nice big "Apparently I don't care about your health" kiss from her spouse.   

MLB Executives
And then the field also included a number of MLB execs, the very group that might help determine the penalty for Mr. Turner.

Given the number of people that likely now need to quarantine for ~10-14 days, I think Turner might get at least a 14 day suspension to start 2021.   MLB may want to make it much longer if the USA is still vaccine-free when MLB starts the regular season to send a message to teams at the start of 2021.

It probably won't be a big deal to sports fans in the USA as long as no one requires hospitalization.  He shouldn't have been there, but MLB shares part of the blame too.   Once his test was known they should have implemented some process to get him out of the stadium.   As both teams were not in their home town, MLB should have had the logistics for that scenario ready to go.   Apparently they didn't have a plan, so MLB shares a big portion of the blame IMHO.
