it may attack everyone equally, but it doesn't get the opportunity (circumstances) to attack everyone equally and it doesn't get fought off (treatment) equally by everyone either. If we assume "famous" people are less like to be in environments where spread is more likely and we assume "famous" people are more likely to get better treatment, then that estimated number should be on the low end or lower.
Counterargument: You have to live long enough to accomplish something to make you famous, so, on average, famous people will be older than the overall population.
