The 7-day average was over 100,000 cases. As noted, hospitalizations are close to the totals we saw at earlier peaks; the problem is that cases are still rising, and hospitalizations trail new diagnoses. I expect we will hit records of hospitalizations next week.
Deaths are still low, but rising and they trail cases and hospitalizations.
