So as the consequences of these positions and statements come to fruition — infection rates are rocketing, ICUs are filling, death rates are increasing — what does he do? He walks away.
I guess dealing with this horrific mess and crisis that he exacerbated is someone else’s problem. And he walks away making it sound like he was some kind of tragic, sacrificing hero. Except the sacrifice in illness and suffering will all be someone else’s.
Every day as ICUs fill more and more, the media should ask — where is Dr Atlas now? Now that the consequences of his policies are turning to disaster, shouldn’t this “world reknown medical expert” — as he described himself — be helping out, rolling up his sleeves and trying to save some lives?
