UCLA fans may have objected to Lexie's slap in the eye of a player in the last minute of play, although it was clearly meant for the ball. Lexie added insult to injury by grabbing the ball away from her distracted opponent before play was stopped by a foul call—this was fair, appropriate guard play on Lexie's part.

To be consistent you would have to be ok with a defender slapping a Stanford player in the eye then grabbing for the ball while the Stanford player was bent over in obvious pain.

I can't stand the UCLA coach.  IMO she acts like an obnoxious jerk on the court.  Every foul against her team is a bad call by the referee.  However, I have a hard time believing she teaches or encourages her team to play dirty to win games.

To change the subject, Stanford plans to have 4,000 students on campus for the winter quarter.
