Orel did break Drysdales scoreless inning streak record. Thing is, both should have given up a run against the Giants in the streak, only to be saved by the ump. Drysdale when he hit Dietz with the bases loaded and Harry Windlestadt said Dietz didn’t try to get out of the way. The only time I’ve ever seen that called. I don’t remember what it was that saved Orel. Maybe Phogge or Bobkk do.
