Tara's presser. A little different from Graves!

Lacey "got dinged a little bit but hopefully she will be back."
"I wish we had taken care of the ball a little bit better but I am not going to split hairs over that."
"We've been working hard to win all four quarters...we need people to be really focused the whole game."
Tara attributes William's surge in recent games to coming home and getting into our own gym, taking extra shots. This confirms in my mind the suspicion that some earlier team weakness and our two losses may have in fact been tied to being on the road for 9 weeks.
She featured Emma-Nnopu and gave her high praise. Said she would be a future defensive stopper like Anna Wilson and that her rebounding and energy were terrific. "A bright future...and we need her now."
The interview with Agnes Emma-Nnopu was the first time I have heard her speak. Seems like a very well adjusted kid with a lot of potential. She has been working on her passing to the interior (feeding posts) and on her jumpshot. It sounds to me as if there is hope she could eventually take the Anna Wilson slot in the starting lineup, provided these other dimensions of her game develop.
