Very little to carp about tonight. Thought we played really well.  I am frightened of UCLA, though.

Some comments:

Saw Hannah Jump interviewed after the game. She spoke about the things she worked on over the offseason. One thing she didn't mention was weights. Do women lifts weights for basketball? Hannah J. looks SO much stronger--more muscular--to me than last year. Whatever it is, just keep it up, Hannah.

Maybe we should just play Haley Jones in the last two, maybe three quarters. I love her play and the effortlessness of so many of her shots, but it seems like the first three times she touches the ball, it's a turnover. Yet she seems less turnover-prone later in the games. Plus, that seems to be when her shot(s) kicks in.

So, Kiana Williams is something like 18 treys away from Candice Wiggins' career record (277 to 295, I think). That is unbelievable to me. I hold Wiggins in such high esteem, but if the record is within your reach, have at it KW.

Last point: My wife, who has both her graduate and undergraduate degrees from UCB (PLEASE, no derogatories here, anyone!) has become an avid Stanford WBB fan. "C'mon, Kiana. I love Kiana." "Haley makes it look so easy." "Great rebound, Lexie."
What fun to watch the games together. Ones like tonight, with all the excellent play, are particularly enjoyable.

My wife went to college in WI and CO.  It's taken years but now she's an avid Stanford WBB fan, and we, too, watch all the games and Behind the Benches together.  We live near Stanford, so we go to all the games, too.  Please do share with your wife how much fun these experiences can be.
