How embarrassing for the Sun Devils.

I’m glad to see Cal get a win. It’s been a brutal season for them in so many different ways. No one wants to see any of these kids go 0 for conference. 

Charli is probably going ape-shi-t though. Though she seems to understand that she has a very young team. They’ll be much better next year.

We still need to play Cal in our last game, and they were very competitive against Arizona and just defeated ASU.  They are peaking just in time to give us a game.

Cal is playing better and congrats to them for getting their first win, nobody likes going winless in a season.

However, ASU's offense is not exactly scaring anyone (team averages of 54.3 ppg/32.7% FG) and Cal won despite surrendering 22 offensive rebounds to the Sun Devils. If we lose to Cal despite grabbing 22 offensive rebounds, then there will be a lot to worry about.

We should respect every opponent we face, whether it's 18-1 UConn or 1-14 Cal, but we should also be confident, given the talent we have, that we can beat anyone we face, especially this season, where there is no dominant and seemingly unbeatable team, a la the Breanna Stewart-led Huskies team of half a decade ago.
