My brother attended Illinois (and it was my backup school). I had them winning it all in my brackets. Needless to say I'm more than eliminated and fighting for last place.

As did my son [attend].  As did I [winning it all].  As am I [more than eliminated].  

And, as my son texted: "Clearly Stanford was hurt by playing in the powerhouse pac 12, while Illinois benefitted from playing in the cupcake big ten..."

If Oregon actually plays a decent second half against Iowa and advances to the Sweet 16, that narrative will really begin to have some merit.

Should Stanford, playing for  more than two months on the road and competing in the rugged Pac-12, have been given an at-large bid?

I know the answer is no, but I can't help but wonder if many of those BigTen schools were really more worthy.
