CompSci, I would love to get a recording of the WWP games. Are you able to set up recording by time, or do you have to tune in & push start?
I guess the bigger question is stopping a recording, but one can always record long and truncate later.
Are you able to record multiple live feeds simultaneously?
I try to watch them live, but life sometimes gets in the way. I also really enjoy going back and looking at a play again and again as I may be looking at the wrong place and want to see it again, or watch what happens setting up a play.
Today's game will be telling to me. We didn't look very good against #4 (or #5, I forget) ASU but it was our first game of the season after not much practice. #3 will be very much better than #4. If we win these games, I will believe we should be #2 or #1. If we lose even one, it seems our chances of a NC are a lot less.
The quality of the video feed this year has been not so good. None of the camera work is great. Imagine if you had to watch basketball with a half-court view always, and then nothing but the head and hands of the players were visible. At least one of the games was blotchy due to lossy compression. Oh yea, that was ASU - you couldn't read the school's name in foot-high letters on the opposite side of the pool.
Also, the announcer has been weak. Maybe it is some student trying to learn the ropes of announcing and they relegated him to WWP. He sounds like he has a marble in his mouth, but maybe that is the mask. But what I object to is that he doesn't know the game. He should read the rule book and watch/listen to some well-announced games. I can forgive the basketball & ice hockey references.
