Obviously, UCON has won the national championship several times, and will naturally get the sportswriters attention, but the other five teams have not. That's where the disparity lies. Aari McDonald from Arizona has better numbers that UCON's Buekers and didn't even get nominated! That is not right.
To that observation, one could say, "Yeah. Move east of the Mississippi or closer..." ...but there must be more to work with here!
Overcoming bias is an uphill fight, but it still needs pointed out and fought.
