Great start to the year, if only MLB had indeed instituted the 7 inning game. What an epic meltdown in the 8th, only to top it off by walking in the winning run in the 10th--three straight walks with the dude automatically placed on second. Sheesh. Five hits, eight runs by the Mariners. Guess relievers who can throw strikes wasn't high on Farhan's metrics.

I think they scored last 7 on three hits. Wisler whizzed.  Garcia looked like he’d never pitched before.  Went to bed after the 9th. Games are so long.  I think they should move night games to 6:30.  I need my beauty sleep.....

Went to bed as they headed to the bottom half of the ninth. Figured nothing good could happen. . . .
