I guess that I’m close to the garbage dump. I hate texting and have no need for a smart phone. I use a phone to make and receive phone calls. The world says what a ridiculous way to communicate. Pay extra for a printed ticket when the tickets are overpriced? Are you kidding?

There will be digital errors at the gates. Fans will get pissed. The security guards will get frustrated. The ticket office will get overwhelmed. No big deal at Stanford as there won’t be many spectators anyway. If it happens in Tuscaloosa people will die.

A digital world? Humbug.

Well put!!!  I predict that there will be times at gates when this is going to be a major mess. And at time, the system will go down and nothing will work, and then what???  Paper, although it can be forged, is a system that works without complications and never goes off-line.
