Good luck to the undrafteds who will hopefully sign UDFA deals.
While I don't blame Schaffer, Robinson or Harrington for not coming back for a sixth year as 5 years of college is a lot, but I wonder if Sarrell or Weddington is having any regrets about not coming back for a fifth year. They could have been more heralded players for Stanford next year and have been in a better position for the NFL. I wish them luck but they have a tough path in front of them to make a NFL roster.
One change I’d like to see. Undrafted players with eligibility should be able to return for their last year if they choose.
Sounds like a logistical nightmare if agents are already signed.
Not really, just have a clause in contract that it terminates if player not drafted and opts to go back to play in college. Of course, the agent can’t pay anything upfront or provide anything of value until UDFA decides to sign with a team.
NCAA could work with agents on the appropriate language and circumstances.
But I doubt there is much will to do it. After all, the only one benefitting is the student-player who is given a choice.

Probably naive, but why do you need an agent before the draft?
Agents will cover pre draft expenses. And I think also front money as loans.
