Neither ASU nor Utah have a bye either before their Friday night game against us either. Obviously, it is tougher to go on the road for a Friday game, but at least we will have home games the week before.
At least: no home games before students start school. Our schedule is backloaded with home games. We have our bye week midway through, ahead of an important game against a division rival.
That being said, I still look at that schedule and have a very hard time finding 6 wins.

Teams scheduled to play on the road on Friday night are either given a bye or scheduled to play at home the week before. This change was made several years ago after a number of coaches complained that it provided an unfair advantage for the host of the Friday game.
Yup. In 2016, we had the JJ Arcega Whiteside breakout game at UCLA late Saturday night and got our asses handed to us at UW on Friday night.
