The Storm has been juggling players to keep at the league allowable 12 and Kiana has been the beneficiary. She is probably the last player on the bench (she has only played 8 minutes all year). First, they juggled the return of their international players and Katie Lou Samuelson's temporary departure (to qualify for the 3 on 3 tournament at the Olympics - I didn't even know this was an event). When she returns that puts the Storm at 13 and there probably isn't room for Kiana. As luck would have it, Kiki Herbert Harrigan has announced she is pregnant and will be on leave for the rest of the season. Fingers crossed that provides roster certainty to Kiana for her first WNBA season.
