The article (written by Oklahoma State people) imagines what it would look like to add Texas, Texas Tech, Oklahoma, and Oklahoma State. With the two imagined divisions, Stanford would retain the California schools and the North schools.

I appreciate them excluding Baylor.

It's really kind of amazing how Larry Scott effectively lost his job the first month on it when Texas wouldn't join the Pac expansion effort he pushed because it thought the Longhorn Network was sacrosanct Had that move happened, the Pac-12 Network would have been on DirecTV without any question, the conference revenues would have ballooned, and he'd likely still have his job.

I wonder if Texas would now reconsider, because that school is the domino that must fall for it to happen. If Texas is in, it will happen, IMO.
