If you go out there expecting to lose, you will. Coaches do a lot of psyching up players to get them to believe they can win every game they play. A player who admits otherwise, even if it is a fully rational opinion, would be considered some kind of "traitor". I am not surprised at all the SJSU DB thought they could win. Otherwise, why bother?
