In a normal year, with normal practices and a normal home base instead of that nomadic craziness, it is reasonable to expect that Ziaire (or Harrison) would have a much greater impact on the team, perhaps helping to propel them to a top 10-15 ranking, some tournament success, etc. If that same person goes on to have a good rookie year in the NBA then it might completely change the trajectory of who is attracted to Stanford and who we can land as recruits. It's a gamble worth taking, opportunity cost and all, and I hope it works out for Harrison this year.
