She was following ALL of the Stanford players on social media at one point, and has since unfriended several. Duke seems like the logical fit for academics, Kara is an up and comer coach, and the chance to play closer to home. How successful have we been in recent memory luring elite East coast prospects all the way across the country to the farm? My inkling is she’s moved on from Stanford. I really hope I’m wrong. All we can do is wait and see.
both her parents went to yale. her aunt went to stanford. all will know that stanford (or yale), not duke, is the choice for academics. duke is a great school, but not at stanford's level academically.
aunt susan has flown all over the world as ambassador to the u.n. and as national security advisor. the family has vacationed in africa, europe, and the caribbean link. i think this is a family that will have no trouble flying to the west coast.
