As for Belt and bunts, hell, he did it with 2 strikes (for a single) not too long ago.  He's done it (or attempted it) a handful of times, at least, this season.

Indeed so. It just shows what he could accomplish if he did it regularly, like several times a game. Maybe he would also get better pitches to hit if they were throwing things that were hard to bunt.
