The interview touched on Stanford's viability as a high quality football program and interesting to see that he thought they always had that potential. I heard a podcast somewhere on ESPN where Beano Cook said he thought Stanford couldn't keep this current trend up.

Beano Cook says that in just about every ESPNU college football podcast where Stanford comes up. But he's be senile for at least a decade. The annoying thing is his podcast partner, Stanford alum Ivan Maisel, never tries to argue with Beano about this. Then again, Maisel doesn't ever debate any statement Beano makes no matter how foolish. It's like everyone puts on their kid gloves when Beano is talking.
