Am feeling optimistic about Oline (and RBs) in terms of quality and depth - I am basing my hopes of 6-6 or better on some old school tree football i.e. game/clock control via run game which allows McKee time to grow into the roll early before showing why he was seen as an elite prospect (3rd best QB Pro QB in his class) - big concern is defence across the board but especially LOS and tackling i.e. fundamentals... if we can control tempo that should take some of pressure of defence and perhaps some playmakers emerge... Honestly think if Oline can be very good we could win 8/9 but if not the floor is real low.
The two early OOC 'away' games will be a great test as they are surely inferior talent wise (?) but will be challenging circumstances but if we get basics right we should win - not too fussed if we lose to USC as long as competitive altho they are unpredictable so again control LOS on offence and don't get blown off ball on D and we can keep game close then who knows...
