Not saying academics aren’t important for her….but I think the likely reason for Vanderbilt is Shea Ralph.  She is the new head coach this year, and previously was at UConn and recruited heavily. So, she likely had a relationship with Shade while at UConn and it continued when she took the HC job at Vanderbilt.

 

Obviously a top top recruit

I think it's a good sign that Vanderbilt is on the list, means she's interested in academics.
