So my last post was overly negative.  I'll try to recover from that by noting that Stanford's most coveted recruit in the class -- David Bailey -- seems to favor Stanford or U$C.  He hails from OC and almost certainly watched the Beat Down in South Central.

It was reported elsewhere that Mr. Bailey planned to attend the game, and he was said to be keen on observing how he might fit on each defense.
