My guess is that halftime will stay at twenty minutes if only to allow for halftime shows. Pageantry is a much bigger part of college football than the NFL, and besides -- who wants to live in a world where the Stanford band cannot use its halftime show to mock a Rose Bowl opponent that's down by five touchdowns? I certainly don't.
