That's why the television world needs to move away from the idea of "channels"; it is a relic of back when there was finite bandwidth in over-the-air television.  Now that we have on-demand streaming, there's no reason that you can't have an event-focused content organization.  So, instead of tuning into Fox at 3 PM for the game, and you are screwed if it shifts time, you tune into the game, brought to you by Fox.
